Thank you for sharing yourself, your family, a priceless set of values and a world full of Jewish women with me. The role models you gave me
as a camper and the guidance I received as a counselor have given me the tools to affect people – just like you do.

At JGR, you form friendships with girls from all ages and backgrounds and form connections that last a lifetime.
It sounds cliche but there’s really no way to put everything I have to say in one short letter. As a camper, BMC changed my life. The inspirational and applicable learning, individual attention, strong friendship with counselors and campers added so much to my life. In my years of homeschooling, camp was an island of learning and friendship.
As a staff member, I’ve learned so many valuable lessons about working with people, communication and delegating. From the Labers, I’ve seen real live lessons in shlichus, bitachon and divine providence. JGR has given me the priceless opportunity to give and gain so much from my campers. They are my extended family, who I’m excited to see again every time. At JGR, it’s obvious how Hashem in ONE – how everything in the world and every possible theme and activity are connected with the single thread of Chassidus. Jewish Girls Retreat is truly a place ‘where Heaven and Earth Meet’.
Rabbi & Nechama Laber – Thank you so much for everything. I can’t imagine what my life would be like without JGR!
Love, Leah Caras, Publisher of YALDAH Magazine & currently Program Director at JGR.
I have some wonderful memories from coming to JGR as a camper, and working at JGR last summer was one of my favorite experiences. I am thrilled to come back for the Winter Retreat! Batsheva Goldberg
I had an amazing time last summer. I can’t wait to be given over to my campers again (I mean it). I realized theres nothing like JGR and I keep wanting to go back to that time in my life. Shaindel Horowitz
I want you to know that I enjoyed every minute of the process this summer starting from the very beginning until it unfolded into the stunning symphony it turned out to be. It was B”H such a growth-full experience. I thank Hashem so much for giving me the opportunity to FINALLY meet you and get to spend a whole summer learning from you. I learned from the way you make your dreams into reality, your incredible emunah in Hashem and powerful hiskashrus to the Rebbe. How you take every life scenario and every challenge and learn and grow from it.
After ALL these years of hearing and wanting so badly to come, Hashem finally made it happen and I am so thankful for that. It was better than I imagined!!!!
Thanks for everything.
With utmost sincerity, and tremendous love and respect,
Some of my friends have previously worked in JGR and told me it’s an incredible experience. one that no camper or staff member can receive anywhere else and so I hope to join have this incredible experience.
What amazed me about JGR is that a group of girls from every sort of background were united and accepted for who they are. The environment enables the girls to express themselves without feeling judged or pressured. I wish I had known about JGR when I was going to camp!
