Shabbos #4 in JGR

We had a beautiful last Shabbos here in JGR! Friday night was filled with singing, delicious food, and fantastic farbrengans. Shabbos day was even better. After a tasty breakfast, davening, and a special GROW workshop, it was time for a lunch filled with lots of special Shabbos foods. Later, there was rest hour, shiurim, and funshops, where girls prepared skits, choirs, dances, and more and then presented them to the whole camp. There was also a fun Shabbos party and a yummy Shalosh Seudas.

After Havdalah, it was time for JGR’s special end-of-camp candle lighting ceremony. Everyone sat in a circle and was given the opportunity to light a candle and share some words about her camp experience. We were so privileged to hear the amazing things all the girls had to say about their wonderful time at JGR.

Tomorrow is the last day of camp! It’s so hard to believe how fast the time’s flown by. All the girls are very excited for the special banquet tomorrow, but very sad to be going home and having to part from all of the amazing new friends they’ve made at JGR. We hope that this summer has been a wonderful experience for your daughter, and we’re sure she can’t wait to tell you about it on Sunday.

Hope to see you tomorrow!
